Individual Counseling

Book a Consultation

Individual counseling provides supportive care through life’s transitions. Whether navigating adolescence, stepping into adulthood, or healing from the impact of a parent's addiction -we can help you build resilience, clarity, and self-compassion.

Individual Therapy

Life is full of transitions, and each stage comes with its own challenges and opportunities for growth.

Adolescence and the teen years are a time of rapid change, where identity, relationships, and future aspirations begin to take shape. Having the right support during this time can help navigate these shifts with confidence.

Young adulthood brings new responsibilities and decisions that shape the future, from career choices to personal relationships, and counseling provides guidance in finding stability and direction.

For adults exploring early attachment experiences, family-of-origin patterns, or the impact of growing up in a home affected by substance use, therapy can offer space for healing, self-reflection, and new ways of relating.

Individual counseling offers a safe, supportive space to explore these experiences, develop self-compassion, and gain the tools needed to move forward with clarity and resilience.

Support for Healing, Growth and Connection

Therapy is not one-size-fits-all—different approaches offer unique ways to explore emotions, build resilience, and foster personal growth. Whether through compassion focused therapy, gender affirming care, connection with nature, or creative expression, finding the right method can be transformative.

  • ADHD Assessment and Support:  Support for children, teens, and adults exploring ADHD, including assessment, treatment planning, practical strategies, emotional regulation, executive functioning, and family support.
  • Attachment, Grief and Family of Origin Work: Support for people navigating attachment wounds, grief, adoption, foster care, kinship care, family-of-origin experiences, and the lifelong impact these relationships can have on identity, connection, and wellbeing. Dr. Kelly’s Training for Adoption Competency also supports this work, with a focus on trauma-informed and attachment-based care around adoption-related grief, loss, identity, and family connection
  • EMDR and Mind-Body Therapy: Support for trauma, stress, and difficult life experiences using EMDR and other mind-body approaches. These therapies help clients notice how experiences are held in the body and work toward greater safety, regulation, and healing.
  • Nature-Based Therapy: Outdoor and nature-based therapy offers space to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with yourself and the world around you. Time outside can support insight, regulation, clarity, and emotional wellbeing.

I am scarred and strong.
